Hi, I am Stef Thorne.

My passion for photography started a long time ago. My father is actually the reason I started taking pictures. He was always snapping pictures of my brother and I but mostly, he would take pictures while we were on family vacations. The most incredible shots of architecture, landscapes, oceans, animals and all the beauty that you see around the world. Travel photography quickly became my first love.

In 2019, I had my first son, Dax. I remember during that pregnancy I had this strong urge to upgrade my camera. So, I did! I knew that I was about to embark on this new incredible journey and that these precious moments, the newborn stage, the first steps, the first food, the first birthday ( Que - cake smash) would all go by so quickly. I didn't want to forget these moments. I wanted to be able to look back on these memories and tell these stories to my son. So what was a passion for travel photography, quickly turned into a passion for family photography.

January 2022, I had another son, Dawson James (DJ is what we call him) and that, is ultimately what led to my decision to start this little photography journey of mine. I know how special it is to capture these moments and how truly meaningful they are.

So, that's me, in a nut shell! I am a photographer with a passion for capturing life's beautiful moments.
